Comedian Jerry Seinfeld‘s popularity exploded in the 1980s and 90s but the man was performing on television (and in night clubs) as early as the 1970s. Here’s two brief clips featuring Jerry making with the jokes while still in his early 20s.

First up, we have what is listed as Jerry’s first national TV gig on NYC-based Celebrity Cabaret in 1977. Next, a quick video from The Bottom Line club, also in NYC, from 1979.
