This man’s been gone for over a decade now? That just ain’t right.

Here’s George Harrison (along with Ringo Starr) performing “My Sweet Lord” at The Concert For Bangladesh. The benefit concert was held at Madison Square Garden on August 1st, 1971. In addition to Harrison and Starr, performers included Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Billy Preston, Ravi Shankar and members of Badfinger.

An L.P. with concert highlights was released in December ’71 and a film of the show hit theaters in March of ’72.
