“A completely unique experience.”

Lazy Sunday and time for our Daily 70s Spot. Here’s the second Colt 45 Malt Liquor commercial. This ad is part of the same TV campaign and similar to yesterday’s, so, I suppose it’s no longer “a completely unique experience.”

Today’s malt liquor advertisement features a time-warping visit to Sherwood Forest. Spot aired in November of 1970.

**UPDATE: Bionic Disco Facebook fan, “The Sesame Street Lyrics Archive,” has informed me that the gentleman starring in these Colt 45 ads is Canadian comic, Billy Van.

The music in the background sounds like the same tune that Ernie Kovacs used for his famous “Nairobi Trio” skit, the one with the three apes.
