Family band, The Sylvers teamed up with Jackson 5 producer, Freddie Perren and recorded “Boogie Fever” for their Showcase L.P of August, 1975. The funky floor-filler was released as a single in February of 1976. By May, it was the number one song in the nation.

Here’s The Sylvers performing “Boogie Fever” live on The Midnight Special in ’76. Have a feverish Monday.
