Holy Mondrian’s Bus! It’s been months since we’ve posted a Partridge Pop. Let’s get right to the music. Here’s The Partridge Family performing “One Day at a Time.”

Any excuse to post another pic of Susan Dey - and I grab it.

  1. Ok, you gotta know that David Cassidy was my first love, and I’ve had the good fortune to meet him a couple of times. When I was a kid, God help you if you got in my way on Friday nights that kept me from watching the Partridge Family. My older sister even bought me the “Shopping Bag” album, and I carried around that bag like it was Linus’ blanket! These days, every Friday is still the 70s, and I like to watch the reruns of Brady Bunch, PF, Odd Couple, etc. I have a doll blog (see website), and she’s a 70s girl, and her favorite is (you guessed it), David Cassidy.

    • Susan Dey for me. 😉 Yep, David Cassidy is a real talent. Great voice and a decent actor too (which doesn’t get mentioned often). Love to hear about you carrying around the ‘Shopping Bag.’

My father-in-law, Richie was a big recording engineer in the 60s & 70s and he engineered one of David Cassidy’s early 70s solo albums, ‘The Higher They Climb.’ He has only nice things to say about him.
