Our Sunday 70s Spot features a now rare Marlboro cigarettes commercial featuring the “Marlboro Country” slogan. Spot aired in August of 1970. Cigarette commercials were banned from US television just a few months later, on January 2, 1971.
*Note: On July 14, 2014 the Philip Morris Company had this 44-year-old commercial removed from YouTube and a strike was placed against the Bionic Disco YouTube account. Nice one!
