“There’s still plenty of comfort inside for six people.”

The new Plymouth Fury for 1973. I’m getting enraged just looking at the thing. Daily 70s Ad #75: The New Plymouth Fury originally appeared in the November 10, 1972 issue of LIFE magazine.

  1. I drove a ’62 Fury while I was in high school in the late 70’s. There really was room for six people in them. I loved that car!!! Mine had a push-button transmission and the “Reverse” went out for about a year until my dad could locate another one.

    • Hi Graham,
(Sorry, I was out of the country all week.)
Thanks for the comment. I love the look of the Fury. Push-button transmission and room for six? What’s not to love?
