Talking Heads originally wrote “Psycho Killer” around 1974 and eventually recorded a version for their debut L.P., Talking Heads: 77. David Byrne and the band are well known for the tune, but the song barely scratched the top 100 upon its original release as a single in December, 1977.

Here’s Talking Heads performing the funky new wave classic live on the UK’s Old Grey Whistle Test in ’78. Qu’est-ce que c’est?
