Volvo ‘Steel Cage.’ (‘Texas Monthly’ magazine, August, 1974)

“To protect the passengers even further, Volvo surrounds them with a steel cage.”

I drove a green 70s Volvo much like this in the late 80s. Thankfully, I never had to test its steel integrity. Daily 70s Ad #192: Volvo ‘Steel Cage’ originally appeared in the August, 1974 issue of Texas Monthly magazine.
