On this edition of Music for Monday we have one of my all-time favorite bands, The Damned, playing the first punk rock single ever released in the UK, “New Rose.”

“New Rose” was written by guitarist, Brian James and produced by Nick Lowe. Dave Vanian sings (and invents goth rock), Captain Sensible is on bass and Rat Scabies pounds the drums. Play loud and annoy your co-workers.
