‘Here’s something that you’re never gonna forget…’ (BTO, 1974)

Bachman-Turner Overdrive’s Randy Bachman originally wrote “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet” as a joke and was reluctant to release it as a single. Good thing he changed his mind, as the song shot to #1 on the US, Canadian, German, and many other, singles charts.

Here’s a 1974 BTO performance film for the tune. Just the thing to jump-start your week.

  1. I can’t remember right now just how I did it, but I’ve very fond memories jamming to BTO, among others, with a very beat to hell Les Paul plugged into the back of a quadraphonic tuner and my Radioshack turntable spinning my vinyl LP’s, all while wearing these big bulky head phones plugged in the front .. ah yes, I was such the rock star then!

    • Similarly, I used to plug my guitar into the stereo…and break all the guitar strings bashing along to tunes.
