Our 1979 weekend continues today with another pair of mind-tickling commercials. Firstly, we have a spot from a long-running series of ads from Federal Express (pre-FedEx days) featuring a “Pass the buck” theme. This one aired in February of 1979.

After that, enjoy a look at La Pizzeria’s frozen pizza from the summer of ’79. You’ll have a hard time finding a box of La Pizzeria in your local store these days. The brand appears to be extinct.
