Not ‘Schoolhouse Rock,’ but an incredible simulation. (Dallas Times Herald commercial, 1978)

The weekend hath arrived! Time to wheel out the old timey commercials. We’ll continue with a 1978 theme and enjoy two spots from that year. First, a Dallas Times Herald commercial featuring animation in a very similar style to Schoolhouse Rock. I can’t say for certain, but it may be the same team. The spot aired in October ’78.
After that, an enjoyable farce for DEP Amino Shampoo with an actress and her hairdresser. This one aired in July of ’78.
