“The man, Clint Eastwood. The mountain, the Eiger…”

I hope the holidays have been kind and the end of the year is treating you well. Today, we’re heading back to 1975 for a pair of TV trailers for movies hitting the big screen.

First, we have Clint Eastwood and George Kennedy in The Eiger Sanction. I saw this one in the theater at age eight and haven’t seen it since. If memory serves, I enjoyed it but thought it was kind of strange and a bit too long. Time for another viewing.

After that, we have a TV trailer for Breakout starring Robert Duvall and Charles Bronson. Haven’t had the pleasure of seeing this one…yet. Both spots aired in May of 1975.
