Daily 70s Spot #386: Ford Pinto With Herb Edelman & Arte Johnson (1975)

'I didn't know that!' (Arte Johnson & Herb Edelman for Ford Pinto, 1975)

‘I didn’t know that!’ (Arte Johnson & Herb Edelman for Ford Pinto, 1975)

“Ford means value.”

Here’s a nice Ford Pinto spot that’s chock full o’ 70s stars. The spokesperson is Herb Edelman (Big John, Little John), the cop is Allan Melvin (The Brady Bunch), and Arte Johnson (Laugh-In) appears in a bunny suit at the end. Heck, I think the younger guy hoping around in the back may be Chris Beaumont who also appeared in a few episodes of The Brady Bunch.

The spot aired in May of 1975. Roll it!
