70s Spots: Schlitz Beer ‘Alaska’ & Sea Plane’ (1973)

A cold one yearning for a cold one.

“Taste the Gusto of Schlitz.”

Two snowy wilderness-themed Schlitz beer spots on-tap today. Firstly, an Alaskan park ranger rescues a moose (yes, you read that right). The commercial aired in September of 1973.

Second, a sea plane pilot hops over the mountaintops before gliding down for a brew. The spot aired in December of ’73.
