Two al key hall spots from the start of the decade today. First, we have a nifty December 1970 Piels Real Draft beer commercial featuring an old timey political speech.

After that, one for Miller High Life, aka “The Champagne of Beers,” from November of ’70.

    In the Piels commercial, the politician speaking looks a lot like Will Geer, who would later star as Grandpa Walton in “The Waltons”.
