70s Spots: Wesson Oil & Van Camp’s Pork & Beans (1972 & ’74)

‘The world’s greatest chicken fixa!’

“Cooks as light as it looks.”

Early Seventies Commercials now for Wesson and Van Camp’s. First up, a spot from 1972 featuring a singing mother for Wesson pure vegetable cooking oil. A few year’s later, Florence Henderson (The Brady Bunch) would become spokesperson for Wesson – taking up the mantel of blonde-haired, singing mom.

The second spot is for Van Camp’s Pork and Beans and aired in early February of 1974 (probably produced in ’73). Have a splendid Friday!
