It’s 1974 and we’re taking a look at something new from Chrysler Plymouth. And here it is – the Valiant Brougham. This impressive vehicle has crushed velour seats and shag carpeting. Very, very “fauncy.” The spot aired in July of 1974.

Onto 1973! Here we have a fun commercial for The Equitable insurance company with a parade of bowlers showing off their individual styles. The spot aired in October of 1973 (and I suspect by the clothes and hairstyles, produced a year or two earlier).

Today, it’s 1972 and we have a spot for Colt 45 Malt Liquor on-tap. In this November ’72 commercial, Canadian comedian, Billy Van braves a hockey game.

1971 today and a spot from Chevrolet. Here we find the Chevy and Chevelle wagons with a free luggage rack on offer.
What’s especially cool about this spot is it was filmed in the Burbank, CA lot where The Partridge Family was currently shooting. The commercial aired in November of 1971.
