Swinging all the way back to the start of the decade, here are four spots from 1970 or thereabouts. First up, a “groovy” commercial for Zest. Remember, folks – it’s not soap!

Fresh vintage commercials incoming! Here’s four spots from 1979. Firstly, Marge Redmond as Sarah Tucker in a spot for “new improved” Cool Whip.

Next, finely-aged commercials for Kraft Macaroni & Cheese, Taylor Champagne (hey, there’s a nice combination – champers & mac!), and Vicks Sinex (with Thomas Newton Hill Jr. and William Andrews).

Time for some fresh, mid-Seventies commercial action. To start us off, a spot for KitKat featuring a pair of big cats. This “unexpected lions” theme ran for a good few years.

Following on from that wafer-filled goodness, we have commercials for Datsun wagons, Charlie’s Angels Hideaway House toy, and Stouffer’s Crepes. So fancy!

Here’s a set of vintage commercials from 1975 and ’76. First up, the man with the golden tones, Morgan Freeman, in a spot for Sure Antiperspirant.

After that, it’s soccer star Pelé for Pepsi, character actor Jack Eagle as Mr. Cholesterol for Fleischmann’s Margarine, and a rare spot for Tony’s frozen pizza. Mangia!
