‘Korg: 70,000 B.C.’ TV intro, 1974
Hanna-Barbera’s live-action series, Korg: 70,000 B.C. first aired Saturday mornings on ABC in September of 1974. A total of 16, 30-minute episodes were produced.
The adventure series follows a family of Ice Age neanderthals as they confront the unknown and struggle their way through a life of danger. Wild cave bears and suspicious tribes are just two of the worries the family encounters in their travails.

The Korg: 70,000 B.C. cast included; Jim Malinda (Korg), Bill Ewing (Bok), Naomi Pollack (Mara), Christopher Man (Tane), Charles Morteo (Tor) and Janelle Pransky (Ree). Burgess Meredith narrates the episodes. Take in Korg‘s intro below and have an agreeable Funshine Friday.

Here’s a clip of old school chauvinist, Mike Brady attempting to teach his daughters how to run an efficient kitchen. Pratfalls and mayhem follow. The clip on display first aired on March 13, 1970 during season one of The Brady Bunch as part of the episode “The Grass is Always Greener.”

Bruce Lee ‘Way of the Dragon’ still, 1972
A new exhibit covering the life of Bruce Lee will be opening next week in Hong Kong. According to a report at CNN:
“A five-year Bruce Lee exhibition will open in Hong Kong’s Heritage Museum on July 20, 2013, to commemorate 40 years since his death.”
The exhibition features over 600 items and a few of the photos on display can be sampled herein.
