Has a better ring than ‘Fonzarelli Loves Tuscadero’

“The love story that shook the world!”

A couple of ABC promos for you today. First, Happy Days and a Fonzie Loves Pinky special from January 1977. This whole Fonz and Pinky Tuscadero (Roz Kelly) ordeal was a pretty big event for us grade school’ers.

  1. Interesting story about “Future Cop”. Sci Fi writer Harlan Ellison successfully sued Paramount Television for stealing the idea for the show from a short story that he and fellow writer Ben Bova wrote for a sci fi Magazine. They were awarded over $300K. It took four years for the case to come to court.

    • That is interesting. Think I read about that. Wonder if ‘Holmes & YoYo’ paid their proper dues.

  2. Harlan Ellison talks all about the case with Tom Snyder on a YouTube clip. Just type in “Harlan Ellison plagiarism” to find it.
