“Reach into the unknown with Dr.Strange!”
Here’s a pair of long-forgotten television promos for your edification and enjoyment. First up, a September 1978 spot for the TV movie version of Marvel Comic’s Dr. Strange starring Peter Hooten, Jessica Walter, and John Mills.
After that, a November 1979 spot for CBS series California Fever. California Fever lasted all of ten episodes and starred Jimmy McNichol, Marc McClure, and Lorenzo Lamas.

Two animated commercials for Tastykake snack treats today. Firstly, a spot for Tastykake Pies followed by a spot featuring a magician. Both commercials aired in April of 1976.

Let’s take to the sky today with a pair of airline commercials. First, we have a spot for the now-defunct Eastern Airlines which features narration by Orson Welles (at least, I’d wager money it’s Welles). The spot aired in January of 1974 (likely produced in ’73).
After that, a roulette wheel spins for American Airlines in a spot from May of 1977.

Second, a spot for Home Pride Butter Top Bread. Both commercials aired in February of 1974.
