“We’re gonna turn it on. we’re gonna bring you the power!”

The Electric Company originally ran on PBS from October, 1971 to April, 1977. 780 episodes of the children’s educational series were produced. If you grew up in the 1970s – you watched and were a fan. It’s that simple. The show was aimed at kids slightly older than those Sesame Street attracted, but was similar in stye, with humorous sketches, cartoons and songs that taught viewers how to speak and spell.
