‘You never listen to a word that I’m saying…’ (Public Image,1978)

Are you ready to pogo and get the blood flowing for another week? I hope so, for here’s John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten) and Public Image Ltd. with their debut single, “Public Image.”

“Public Image” was recorded in the summer of 1978 and released in October of that same year (marking a 35 year anniversary). It hit the top 10 in the UK and sold well in the US via import. The music video below was the first directed by Don Letts (later of Big Audio Dynamite). Play loud.
