‘Jana of the Jungle’ TV title, 1978.

Hanna-Barbera’s Tarzan-influenced, Jana of the Jungle, made its debut in September of 1978. The animated series originally aired on NBC (as part of The Godzilla Power Hour), running for 13 episodes.

B.J. Ward, stars as Jana, who searches the South American rain forests in vain for her long-lost father. Michael Bell voices biologist, Dr. Ben Cooper and Ted Cassidy plays the part of jungle tribesman, Montaro. Catch the intro below.
