Here’s a great shot of Merle Haggard from the October 24, 1970 issue of Cash Box magazine. Can’t say I’m a fan of “Okie From Muskogee,” but there’s a hundred other Haggard songs I do enjoy. So, let’s listen to 1970’s “I Can’t Be Myself” instead.
