Here’s a living, breathing Seventies mascot I’m pleased to bring back to your memory cortex. His name is – Aldo Cella! Behold. The commercial for Cella wine (part of a series of “Aldo” spots) aired in October of 1979.
After that, another chilled wine spot. This one for Colony Burgundy aired in July of ’79. Two lil’ drinkie-poos just for you.

Two 1976 commercials today from ad campaigns you may remember. First, a spot for Fritos Brand Corn Chips with a “munchy” theme.

Let’s get in the game with two toy commercials from the early part of the decade. First up, a spot from 1971 for Mattel’s Matchbox Superfast race cars.
Following that, a spot starring Don Adams for Aurora’s Skittle Tac-Toe. This one aired in October of 1972.

A pair of consumable commercials are available today. First, we have a spot for 7-Up featuring a caterer and a construction site.
Second, a Coca-Cola spot featuring a first love theme. Both commercials aired in April of 1978.

“The Great American Shoe Store!”
Two prime commercials from 1976 on the box today. First up, an animated spot for Fotomat. These little drive-thru booths need to make a comeback. They could provide physical prints of your digital photos. Someone roll with that idea.
Next, a singing, dancing spot for Kinney Shoes featuring Ken Berry of F-Troop and Mayberry R.F.D. fame. Berry did a whole series of these spots in the Seventies.

Here’s a pair of Wondra Skin Conditioning Lotion commercials from Proctor & Gamble that were produced in 1977. The first features an antiques shop, the second, a couple preparing a new baby’s room. There’s the rub!
