Capping off 1975 Week, we have two beer commercials for a fine, lazy Sunday. First up, one for Old Milwaukee featuring “Babe Ruth.” After that, a team of cowboys go for the Gusto by rounding up a heard of buffalo. Both spots aired in July of 1975.

It’s a Chevrolet Saturday here at the ‘Disco. Our first spot features the ’76 Chevy Blazer in a Montana search and rescue practice run. Narration is by singer, Tom T. Hall.
The second spot shows off the Vega and Monza engine guarantee. Both commercials aired in November of 1975.

Check out this BankAmericard commercial from November of 1975. A months later, in 1976, BankAmericard consolidated its international operations under the new name of Visa.
